Check out the PowerPoint  and Broadcast

As Water 2070 confirms, significant water conservation measures are essential to lessen development-related water demand in Florida over the coming decades.  Dr. Pierce Jones, Director of the University of Florida’s IFAS Program for Resource Efficient Communities, discusses water conservation planning for Florida’s communities based on a series of studies he’s conducted on behalf of Envision Alachua (Plum Creek), Toho Water Authority, and other local governments, developers, and water authorities. Dr. Nick Taylor, UF/IFAS State Specialized Agent (Conservation Data Clearinghouse) follows up with a discussion of residential irrigation water trends based on utility billing records from several regions of Florida.
