1000 Friends of Florida's Friday, December 14 workshop, Toward a Regional Framework: A Transportation/Land Use Dialogue, has reached capacity and no additional registrations are being accepted. However, we are pleased to let you know that Access Sarasota Live TV will be broadcasting the event. This exciting workshop will feature Florida Department of Community Affairs Secretary Tom Pelham and Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Stephanie Kopelousos, as well as other speakers from across the state. Topics will include transportation/land use linkages, habitat protection, rural land conservation, and the role of regionalism.
