Alarmed by the projections included in Florida 2060, 1000 Friends Chairman Emeritus Nathaniel Reed convened a group of some of the state's leading conservationists, developers, and agricultural leaders to chart a different course for Florida's future. The group produced a report with a series of recommendations related to visioning and public policy, economic and planning strategies, and citizen involvement. 2007.
